    Certification Overview

    Business analysis competency guidelines are offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), a global leader in business analysis. Founded in 1968, IIBA is a world-renowned organization devoted to helping professionals, leaders and organizations gain a comprehensive understanding of real-world business analysis challenges.

    Starting in January 2020, you can take the exam online instead of going to a test center. Exams are proctored online from the comfort of your home. You will need access to an Internet connection, a camera, and a place to sit unobstructed. You can find more information at IIBA.ORG.

    The time required will depend on your current capability as well as your experience and qualifications. You’ll need to attend 35 hours of CBAP training as instructed by a certified trainer and then pass a qualifying examination.
